When choosing a hospice facility, be sure the facility and hospice team are licenses and certified by the state. Ask the staff about the caregiver to patient ratio and the typical response time of the hospice team. It’s always a good idea to talk to friends, family members or your religious leader about any experiences or recommendations they may have had with hospice facilities.
